Peel and dice apples into small pieces.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk milk and egg.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
Fold in the diced apples.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Drop batter into hot oil, forming fritters.
Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
